In Newquay we're blessed with some of the finest surf you'll find in the UK. The Atlantic ocean provides quality surf all year round. There are plenty of break to choose from. If things are looking too big and scary at Fistral Beach you're most likely to find a surfable wave at one of beaches on the other side of town (ie. Great Western Beach or Towan Beach). Many of the beaches have equipment hire of some kind right on the beach - however if you're unsure please check our equipment hire list before you travel and call beforehand to book.
