Whipsiderry Beach lies between Porth Beach and Watergate Bay. Due to difficult accessibilty it is one of the quietest beaches in the area. It is only possible to access the beach by a steep set of steps. It would not be advisable the eldery to attemp the descent – it can be a little tricky if two families attemp to pass one another in different directions!.
With the accessiblity issues overcome you will find Whipsiderry Beach to be a great location for a bit of rock pooling, walking, swimming or a surf. One can walk for quiet a distance – however the closest place that one can exit the beach is Watergate Bay and that is a good mile up the coast – so take care not to get caught out by the tides.
