Newquay is home to some of the finest sandy beaches in the UK. Fistral beach, Crantock, Towan and Lusty Glaze to name a few...
All along the stunning Newquay coastline you will find numerous beaches, each with their own unique character and vibe. At the far west of the town lies Fistral beach - the spiritual home of the UK surfing scene. Right in the heart of the town is Towan beach the bucket and spade type traditional UK beach that has retained all the charm of a bygone era. It's hardly surprising that Newquay has been voted as “one of the nations favourite seaside towns” in the prestigious Which Holiday Survey and “Best Family Holiday Destination” by readers of COAST magazine (source: visitnewquay.org).
The Newquay Information Website have put together this handy guide to all the beaches in the Newquay area. There's so many wonderful beaches to choose from that you may miss one on your visit if you fail to plan ahead of your stay!
